'Atolan

Atolan is located on Provincial Highway No. 11 on the coastal mountain range of Amis sacred land Dulan Mountain. Facing the boundless Pacific Ocean, the symphony of the mountain and the sea compose the unique folk sentiments of 'Atolan. Surrounded by Mother Nature, their longstanding heritage consists of their forefathers' everyday wisdom. 'Atolan has the meaning of a pile of rocks in Amis language; according to legend, when the Amis people first started developing the land, a bunch of rocks was excavated and they were stacked up into piles, hence the name 'Atolan.
