To encourage the revitalization of indigenous peoples’ traditional wisdom, reinforce youths’ entrepreneurship competence, and enhance the survival rate of startups, the Council of Indigenous Peoples has provided resources such as professional training courses, consultation counselling, startup funding, business opportunity matchmaking to stimulate the youth to developing and innovating the indigenous peoples’ industries. This hence creates a pro-employment environment which enhances the success rate for startups, and revitalizes the indigenous peoples’ characteristic industries to achieve sustainable management.
The Project for Innovative Value of Indigenous Peoples’ Industries – Guidance for Lean Startups began in 2014 and selected 20 projects annually. More than a hundred of graduands have completed the course to date.
