The Project for Innovative Value of Indigenous Peoples’ Industries – Subsidizing Innovative R&D, which has been implemented since 2018, has been supporting indigenous peoples’ enterprises of a specific scale to encourage indigenous peoples’ enterprises to further develop their core strengths, enhance technological capabilities, and further develop value-add to achieve competitive advantages via technological innovations or service-side innovations, hence allowing these organizations to comprehensively develop and furthermore steadily integrate with local industries.

I. Technological Innovation: This refers to innovation in product or manufacturing processes where innovative concepts and technologies provide benefits to the industry, possible benefits being theoretical analysis & modelling, design, R&D, application, etc.

II. Service-side Innovation: Encourage the introduction of innovative developments such as new services, new business models, new marketing models, or new commercial applications, while further allowing enterprises to grasp core technological abilities, enhance value-add to create competitive advantages.
